Updated: Google Overlays of Figheldean Rights of Way
It contains traced paths for all of the Figheldean Rights of Way, based on the Definitive Map and Statement as of 29th June 2009.
There is also a live Google Maps version if you don't have Google Earth.
Updated (May 2009): Figheldean #32 has recently been added as a new Byway Open to All Traffic.
Updated (August 2009): Figheldean #6 has recently been reclassified as a Byway Open to All Traffic.
Google Earth
Here's a picture of what it looks like when you've loaded the .kmz file into Google Earth (click the picture for a higher resolution version):
Green paths are Footpaths, light blue ones are Byways Open to All Traffic and yellow ones are Restricted Byways.
Google Maps
Here is a live Google Map with the same overlay incorporated. To expand this to full size in a new window and see all the footpath definitions and labels use the 'View Larger Map' link just below the preview.
Please consult OS Map Explorer Series Sheet 130 "Salisbury and Stonehenge" if walking in the area.
