Mill Pond Bench and Information Board

by Figheldean Webmaster at 13:43 27/03/09 (Mill Pond)
On Thursday 26th and Friday 27th March, the new information board and carved oak seat were installed at the Mill Pond.
The seat was carved by hand by Matt Cutts, a local artist from near Salisbury, who has been working on it for us for three months.

The information board was provided by the Living River Project who have kindly funded this restoration work and been a source of inspiration and advice throughout.

Here are some photos:

The next phase of the work will be to replace the old rotten wood fence at the bridge end of the bank - stay tuned for details.
